On July 1, the Hanoi People's Procuracy's Information Portal informed about the ceremony to announce and hand over decisions on personnel work.
At the ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the Decisions of the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the appointment of management positions for 12 regional People's Procuracies under the Hanoi People's Procuracy and the Decisions of the Chief Prosecutor of the City People's Procuracy on the transfer and appointment of department-level management leaders, effective from July 1, 2025.
This is an important milestone in the work of reforming the apparatus of the People's Procuracy in general and for the Hanoi People's Procuracy in particular.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dao Thinh Cuong - Director of the Hanoi People's Procuracy congratulated the 12 people appointed to the position of managing the Provincial People's Procuracy, the officials transferred and appointed to the position of managing the department of the City People's Procuracy and the personnel on early retirement.
Mr. Dao Thinh Cuong emphasized that the establishment of the People's Procuracy of the region and the end of the operation of the People's Procuracy at the district level are not only changes in name or administrative boundaries, but more importantly, are an important step in the work of reforming the apparatus of the People's Procuracy, in order to meet the requirements of streamlining, effectiveness, and efficiency, while improving the quality of performing functions and tasks in the new context.

Mr. Lai Viet Dong - who was appointed as Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy, Region 6 - said that this is a huge responsibility, so he should constantly strive, continue to practice, maintain moral qualities, political courage and professional capacity to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.
