On the afternoon of February 25, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province held a conference to implement the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; announced the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the arrangement of the apparatus and cadres.
According to the announced results, the new departments were established and the appointed directors include:
The Department of Finance - established on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance. Director: Vuong Thi Bay.
The Department of Home Affairs - established on the basis of merging the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs. Director: Trinh The Truyen.
The Department of Construction - established on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction. Director: Tran Quang Tuan.
The Department of Science and Technology was established on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology. Director: Nguyen Minh Tuong.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment was established on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Director: Nguyen Minh Tuan.
The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions was established on the basis that the Ethnic Committee received additional functions and tasks of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in State management of religion and beliefs. Director: Ha Cam Chung.

The Department of Education and Training reorganizes on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of advising the Provincial People's Committee on State management of education and vocational training.
The Department of Health reorganizes on the basis of receiving the function and task of advising the Provincial People's Committee on State management of social protection, children, prevention and control of social evils.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reorganizes on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of advising the Provincial People's Committee on State management of press and publishing.
The Department of Justice reorganizes after transferring the task of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in State management of criminal records and performing public services to issue criminal records to the Provincial Police.
The Department of Industry and Trade reorganizes on the basis of receiving the original status of the Phu Tho Market Management Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Also at the conference, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province announced the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council confirming the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the term XIX, 2021 - 2026 for Mr. Nguyen Manh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Viet Tri City Party Committee, Chairman of the Viet Tri City People's Council.
At the same time, the conference announced the decision of the Provincial People's Committee on the establishment of the Phu Tho Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board; the decision to appoint Mr. Pham Xuan Son - Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Town to the position of Director of this agency.
After more than 2 months of work, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province has completed the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies, now there are 14 agencies (a reduction of 5/19 agencies). At the same time, the assignment and arrangement of cadres has been completed to ensure the operation of agencies and the provincial government apparatus.
