On December 27, Mr. Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City chaired the Conference to announce the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on the establishment of the Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee.
According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, the Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee was established under the Hai Phong City Party Committee on the basis of the entire Thuy Nguyen District Party Committee, including 47 Party Committees, grassroots Party cells and 13,140 Party members of the Thuy Nguyen District Party Committee. Appointed the Executive Committee of the Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee consisting of 40 comrades; the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consisting of 11 comrades; Secretary and 2 Deputy Secretaries of the City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. The Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee established specialized agencies to advise and assist, grassroots Party organizations under the City Party Committee; elected the City Party Committee Inspection Committee according to regulations; promulgated the Working Regulations and related regulations of the City Party Committee according to regulations. The Decision takes effect from January 1, 2025.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Hai Phong City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau congratulated the Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee and emphasized: The establishment of Thuy Nguyen City is a historical milestone, affirming the continuous efforts of the entire Party Committee and people of Thuy Nguyen in the socio-economic development, building a strong political organization, contributing significantly to the overall development of Hai Phong City.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee suggested that the Thuy Nguyen City Party Committee should focus on strategic tasks to ensure sustainable and long-term development.
“Currently, Thuy Nguyen city is facing many opportunities and also many challenges, so the establishment of Thuy Nguyen city Party Committee and ward and commune Party Committees will open up many prospects for the remarkable development of the locality.
To achieve the set goals, the entire Party Committee and government of Thuy Nguyen city need to promote intelligence, dynamism and creativity to be determined to build Thuy Nguyen into a modern, civilized urban area, an important economic driving force of Hai Phong city" - Hai Phong Secretary emphasized.
