On the afternoon of September 27, within the framework of the voter contact program before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly Delegation of Ninh Thuan province met with voters in Phuoc My ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham city).
Chairing the meeting with voters were National Assembly delegates: Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL); Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Chairman of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Chamalea Thi Thuy - Head of Mass Mobilization of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee.
At the meeting, Ms. Chamalea Thi Thuy - Head of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department reported to voters on the expected content and program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation since the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly to date; listened to and received voters' opinions, recommendations, reflections and aspirations on the content and program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly and relevant agencies.
At the voter meeting, some residents suggested that it is necessary to build enough community activity houses in residential groups to meet people's living needs during holidays and monthly activities.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Thuan - a voter in Phuoc My ward, is concerned about participating in health insurance but the price that people pay is still too high. Mr. Thuan suggested that the Party and the State have policies to create conditions for all people to participate in health insurance. In addition, Mr. Thuan is also concerned about the situation of illegal construction in the area and the progress of handling cases of people violating.
Meanwhile, voter Hoang Van Du questioned the validity of some planning in Ninh Thuan province. The announcement of the planning validity will help people be proactive in building houses, investing in infrastructure, and feel secure in production and business...
In addition, some voters also raised questions about state management of the "modification" of car and truck lights, and the situation of resisting law enforcement officers. Voters hope that state agencies will soon have policies to adjust the law to protect the force on duty, and at the same time strictly handle those who resist law enforcement officers...
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee assessed Phuoc My ward as a key locality in socio-economic development, where many provincial administrative agencies are located. Therefore, the petitions of voters - mainly retired cadres and party members, all expressed the thoughts and aspirations of the people.
According to the head of Ninh Thuan province, for issues within their authority, the local government will focus on resolving them for the people. However, there are issues that voters are concerned about but are complicated and will take a long time to resolve.
Mr. Tran Quoc Nam also requested that local authorities continue to pay attention to and resolve complaints and opinions of voters. Any issues beyond their authority should be reported to provincial authorities for consideration and direction.
