At the conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee's Standing Committee announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the transfer and assignment of Major General Nguyen Hong Phong - Director of the Department of Internal Security of the Ministry of Public Security, to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Major General Nguyen Hong Phong was born in 1979 (46 years old), worked at the Ministry of Public Security and held the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Security. In July 2022, he received the decision to become Director of Ha Tinh Provincial Police; in June 2024, he was transferred to the position of Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police.
In January 2025, Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong - Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police was transferred by the Ministry of Public Security to work and hold the position of Director of the Department of Internal Security - Ministry of Public Security.
At the ceremony, the competent authority also presented the Politburo's decision to Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025, 2025 - 2030 terms and introduced him to be elected as Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 - 2030 term.
