This afternoon (November 11), in Hanoi, the Truth National Political Publishing House coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to organize a book introduction ceremony "Building a truly clean and strong People's Public Security force, for the country, for the people" by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee (CATW), Minister of Public Security - said that during his lifetime, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong always paid special attention to and made great contributions to the cause of national security protection, ensuring social order and safety and building the People's Public Security force (CAND).
According to General Luong Tam Quang, in order for the People's Public Security force to successfully complete all political tasks, worthy of being a reliable support of the Party, State and people, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong paid special attention to directing the work of building a truly clean and strong People's Public Security force, closely attached to the people, closely coordinating with the People's Army (QDND).
"Comrade has repeatedly instructed, always remembering and carving in his heart and implementing the truth of "forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", "as long as the Party is still with us", "honor is the most noble sacred thing", always engraved in the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho "Our police is the People's Public Security, serving the people and relying on the people to work"; "The Army and the Public Security are two core forces, truly the " sword" and "shield", the two wings of a bird, protecting, maintaining peace and stability in the development of the country, so we must constantly strengthen the relationship of solidarity and closeness" - General Tam Quang said.
According to General Luong Tam Quang, the articles and speeches of direction and discussion by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong deeply demonstrate the intelligence, enthusiasm, vision, responsibility as well as the special attention, deep affection and trust of our Party leaders in the People's Public Security Forces, gathered in the book launched today.
The book is not only a valuable document but also a guideline to guide the entire People's Public Security Forces in working, fighting and building forces in the following years; for local Party committees and authorities at all levels in leading the management of security and order protection; encouraging, arousing patriotism, instructing the masses to actively participate in the cause of protecting the Fatherland in general, the cause of protecting security and order in particular.
Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam - Director, Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth - said that the articles and speeches of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the task of building the People's Public Security force are a valuable heritage, of special importance to the People's Public Security force.
With a capacity of 600 pages, the book is divided into three parts.
Part 1: Building a strong and comprehensive People's Public Security force, worthy of being an absolutely loyal force to the Party, State and people.
Part 2: The People's Public Security Force firmly protects national security, ensures social order and safety, for the country, for the people.
Part 3: Outstanding marks, deep affection of the People's Public Security force for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the political responsibility of the People's Public Security force in the new era.
