The conference was attended by key leaders including: Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee in charge of the Party facilities Ngo Xuan Thang and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Le Tri Thanh.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee announced the decision of the Central Party Secretariat and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on allowing cadres to retire early according to their wishes, including: Mr. Le Van Dung, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Nam Province (old); Mr. Le Trung Chinh, former Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City (old) and Mr. Le Van Trung, former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City (old). The retirement date is from September 1, 2025.
One of the key contents is the announcement of the establishment of 4 new Party Committees and the appointment of leadership personnel. Specifically:
Party committees of the city's Party agencies: Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, holds the position of Party Secretary.
Party Committee of the City People's Committee: Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee.
City Military Party Committee: Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the City Party Committee, holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee.
City Police Party Committee: Mr. Nguyen Huu Hop, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of the City Police holds the position of Party Committee Secretary.
The conference also announced the decision to establish and assign and appoint personnel to the advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee. Including:
Mr. Tran Thang Loi, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, holds the position of Chief of the City Party Committee Office. Mr. Doan Duy Tan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, holds the position of Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee. Ms. Le Thi My Hanh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee. Ms. Huynh Thi Thuy Dung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, holds the position of Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee. Mr. Vo Cong Chanh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, holds the position of Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
Regarding public service units and socio-political organizations, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also issued decisions to establish Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television, appointing Mr. Doan Xuan Hieu, a member of the City Party Committee, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief. Establish the City Political School, appoint Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thuan as Principal. Establishment of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City. Mr. Le Tri Thanh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, was appointed as Chairman.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang acknowledged and respectfully thanked the great contributions of retired cadres to the development of Quang Nam province and Da Nang city in the past. At the same time, the Secretary of the City Party Committee congratulated the Party Committees, agencies, units and individuals who were trusted with the new responsibility. He believes that, with political courage and working capacity, these cadres will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, excellently complete assigned tasks, contribute to the city's development, and in the immediate future, focus on successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels, towards the 23rd Congress of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
