The Monument "People's Public Security for the benefit of the People" is located at Hoa Ha Long Park, Hong Gai Ward, Quang Ninh Province.
Attending the ceremony, on the side of the Ministry of Public Security, there was Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Deputy Minister of Public Security. On the side of Quang Ninh province, there were Mr. Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Pham Duc An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam emphasized that the Vietnam People's Public Security is a revolutionary armed force born from the people, fighting on the people. In any circumstances, the People's Public Security Forces are always absolutely loyal to the Party, State and People.
The construction of the Monument "People's Public Security for the Service of the People" not only honors and expresses gratitude for the achievements of generations of People's Public Security officers and soldiers; strengthens the close relationship with the people; strengthens the trust and promotes the strength of the entire political system, the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. This is also a cultural project of political and historical significance, a place to organize propaganda and traditional education activities for generations of officers and soldiers.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam expressed his hope that the project will contribute to enhancing the value of urban landscape, becoming an impressive and attractive destination for tourists when coming to Quang Ninh.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the inauguration of the monument not only marks a new cultural milestone of the province, but also opens up space for political activities, traditional education, spreading pride, fostering patriotism and revolutionary will for today's and future generations.
This will be a "red address" to organize commemorative activities, gratitude, political activities, raise awareness, courage and civic responsibility, especially for officers, soldiers of the armed forces, students and young people of Quang Ninh.
