HCMC - On March 10, Colonel Tran Hong Minh - Deputy Director of Tra Vinh Provincial Police - was transferred to the position of Deputy Director of HCMC Police.

On the morning of March 10, Ho Chi Minh City Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work. Accordingly, Colonel Tran Hong Minh - Deputy Director of Tra Vinh Provincial Police - was transferred to the position of Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police.

Speaking at the assignment acceptance ceremony, Colonel Tran Hong Minh shared that this is an important milestone in his career, opening a new journey with many challenges but also an opportunity to contribute more to the work of ensuring security and social order.

In his new position, the new Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police pledged to make every effort, promote a sense of responsibility, solidarity with the collective leadership, officers and soldiers of Ho Chi Minh City Police to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Colonel Tran Hong Minh, born in 1976, hometown of Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City. Before being transferred to the position of Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police, Mr. Minh held important positions such as Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department, Head of District 3 Police (Ho Chi Minh City) and Deputy Director of Tra Vinh Provincial Police.

With this transfer decision, Ho Chi Minh City Police currently has 6 Deputy Directors, including: Major General Mai Hoang, Major General Tran Duc Tai, Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duong, Colonel Le Quang Dao and Colonel Tran Hong Minh.
