In 2024, the province's socio-economic development will continue, with 12/16 targets achieving and exceeding the 2024 plan, an increase compared to 2023. The total budget revenue in 2024 of Dak Lak province is estimated at 8,500 billion VND.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council also developed and regulated a number of contents and support levels for using career funds from the State budget to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction for the 2021-2025 period; the 2025 public investment plan from local budget sources; assigned targets and plans for development investment capital from the central budget and provincial budget to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2025...

Also at the meeting, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council discussed and evaluated the results achieved in 2024. The relevant parties also frankly discussed and acknowledged the shortcomings, limitations and causes in all areas.

From there, focus on discussing and proposing practical solutions suitable to reality to continue directing, operating, and organizing the successful implementation of upcoming tasks.

Ms. Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council emphasized: "2025 is a year of special significance, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Country, the 50th anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot victory, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, and the reunification of the country".

According to Ms. Hoa, this is the final year to implement the goals, targets and tasks of the term. According to the direction of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, we must focus on implementing the major and key tasks that have been set out.

In particular, focusing on innovation and reorganization of the political system's apparatus in conjunction with improving the capacity, responsibility, and effectiveness of public service performance of the staff and civil servants.

The province needs to accelerate and make breakthroughs to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out by the 17th Provincial Party Congress...

Therefore, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Committee urgently direct, operate, and resolutely and synchronously deploy tasks and solutions to ensure the over-fulfillment of the goals, targets, and requirements for socio-economic development, national defense, and security in 2025 that the Provincial People's Council has voted to approve.
