On December 11, at the 9th Session of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Council, term IV, 2021 - 2026, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi explained the issues discussed and questioned by delegates.
Regarding some socio-economic targets for 2024 that were not achieved, Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi said that the core solution is to focus on budget collection.
However, in 2024, Dak Nong province is expected to have a revenue shortfall of VND230 billion compared to the target assigned by the Provincial People's Council. The main reason is that revenue from land use did not meet expectations.
Regarding the effectiveness of project implementation, the Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee frankly accepted responsibility. He pointed out that the main cause comes from subjective factors in the management and implementation of relevant departments, branches and the Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Ho Van Muoi emphasized that some departments and branches have not fully demonstrated their sense of responsibility. During the process of consulting and designing the project, they have not carefully calculated and failed to anticipate practical difficulties.
The Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee pledged to resolutely handle large projects that are causing waste, especially clean water projects in the area, and clarify the responsibilities of related organizations and individuals.
Mr. Ho Van Muoi also requested to boldly replace cadres who do not complete their tasks or roles, to ensure effectiveness in work implementation.
District and city leaders strengthen information connection, promptly update problems arising in the process of performing tasks so that the Provincial People's Committee can directly direct and thoroughly handle each case.
