The Provincial People's Committee Office, Departments, branches and sectors proactively coordinate with units of Bac Giang province to prepare facilities and working means to be ready to operate when merging the two provinces in conjunction with reviewing the current facilities and working headquarters of Bac Ninh province to develop a handling plan to promote functionality, avoid waste, and report to the Provincial People's Committee before June 15.
The Provincial People's Committee Office coordinates with the Office of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee to draft a work program and working regulations for the new Bac Ninh province.

Previously, as Lao Dong reported, after collecting opinions and receiving high consensus and agreement from the people, the Project to reorganize Bac Ninh province and Bac Giang province to establish Bac Ninh province was submitted to the Government on April 28, before the prescribed time.
According to the Project, the two provinces of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang will merge and have a new name, Bac Ninh province, the administrative center will be located in the current Bac Giang city. The new Bac Ninh province will have a total of 99 communes and wards; population of 3,619,433 people.
