On 4.4, the Ministry of Home Affairs held a meeting on the ministry's digital transformation, the purpose of evaluating the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP of the Government, digital transformation, Project 06 of the Ministry of Home Affairs in the past time and identifying a number of tasks in the coming time.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs' Electronic Information Portal, speaking at the meeting, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra said that the Ministry of Home Affairs has made efforts to build and perfect an institutional system to serve digital transformation, administrative reform, and serve issues related to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
To focus on effectively implementing digital transformation, the Ministry of Home Affairs clearly defines the goal, each civil servant, public employee and employee of the ministry must have a correct awareness, knowledge and skills in digital transformation to meet the requirements of the digital transformation revolution.
The Minister assigned the Information Technology Center to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Organization and Personnel to rebuild training programs to improve information technology proficiency during the year, focusing on prioritizing internal training programs focusing on digital transformation contents.
In addition, the Minister also identified the goal that units need to successfully complete 10 tasks assigned by competent authorities in 2025.
Along with that, the ministry needs to supplement and complete the database (CSDL), ensuring connection with national data on population, with national data centers. At the same time, a number of specialized database sources have been completed.
In the coming time, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra pointed out 5 key tasks in the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the ministry.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Home Affairs needs to quickly complete the Ministry's Digital Transformation Steering Committee; units need to focus on leading and directing the development and improvement of the institutional system related to the functions and tasks of state management of the Ministry, implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
Notably, the Minister requested units to review and propose a list of documents to thoroughly advise on decentralization and delegation of authority in the spirit of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Government; complete legal documents related to the operation of local government at both levels expected to start from July 1; Decree related to performing the functions and tasks of national digital records to have management tools.
Review and propose the completion of specialized databases, ensuring "correct, complete, clean, and living" data, focusing on a number of important databases such as: National database on civil servants and public employees; Labor - employment database;
Review and evaluate the current status of information technology infrastructure and digital infrastructure in the Ministry; complete administrative procedures on the Online Public Service Portal.
Review and re-evaluate the entire team of civil servants, public employees and workers performing professional tasks in information technology of the Ministry to contribute to the effective implementation of digital transformation. The Minister assigned the Department of Organization and Personnel to coordinate with the Information Technology Center to carry out the task.
