At the conference, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs - announced the Resolution of the City People's Council on the establishment of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Can Tho City.
According to the resolution, 14 specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Can Tho City were established, including: Department of Home Affairs; Department of Justice; Department of Finance; Department of Industry and Trade; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Construction; Department of Science and Technology; Department of Education and Training; Department of Health; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Can Tho People's Committee Office; Can Tho City Inspectorate; Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; Department of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Tran Thanh Liem also announced the Decisions to appoint the positions of Director, Deputy Director of the Department and specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Can Tho City, including:
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Chief Inspector of Can Tho City and 6 Deputy Chief Inspectorates.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quan - Director of the Department of Justice and 9 Deputy Directors
Mr. Tran Thanh Liem - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs simultaneously assigned the responsibility and management of the Department of Home Affairs until the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs and 6 other Deputy Directors was completed.
Mr. Duong Van Ngoanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, also assigned the Department of Finance to be in charge of and operate until the position of Director of the Department of Finance and 9 other Deputy Directors was completed.
Ms. Ho Thi Thanh Bach - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, also assigned to be in charge of and operate the Department of Foreign Affairs until the position of Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and 2 other Deputy Directors was completed.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung - Chief of Office of the City People's Committee and 7 Deputy Chief of Office.
Mr. Mai Van Tan - Director of the Department of Construction and 13 Deputy Directors.
Mr. Hoang Quoc Cuong - Director of the Department of Health and 7 Deputy Directors.
Mr. Lam Hoang Mau - Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions and 6 Deputy Directors.

At the same time, Mr. Dong Hoang Dung - Member of the City Party Committee Executive Committee, was appointed to the position of Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of Can Tho City for a term of 5 years from the date of signing and 5 Deputy Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council of the City.
