Consider qualified staff when arranging
The People's Council of Dong Thap province, term X, 2021-2026, held its 14th extraordinary session and voted to merge commune-level administrative units on April 28. After the arrangement, Dong Thap province has 45 commune-level administrative units. Of which, there are 38 communes and 7 wards; a reduction of 96 commune and ward-level administrative units, reaching a rate of 68.09%.
In the context of streamlining, Dong Thap province always puts the top priority on arranging cadres based on practical capacity and moral qualities. A streamlined but quality apparatus, with a team of "both rosy and specialized" cadres, will be a strong motivation for the province to break through to welcome the new era.

At the meeting with voters in Cao Lanh district on April 16. Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap Province said that in the process of organizing the organizational structure, officials who are eligible to enjoy according to the regime will be considered, but will consider each position of capable cadres to continue the work. As for the post -arranged facilities, the province will soon have to direct localities to avoid wasting after arrangement.
Policy to attract human resources
Report on the results of the implementation of Resolution No. 03 dated December 31, 2021 of the Executive Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee on improving the quality of human resources in Dong Thap province in the period of 2020-2025, with a vision to 2030 (abbreviated as Resolution No. 03) also shows that, after 5 years of implementation, the training of the provincial human resources has changed positively.
The level of education and the quality of human resources are improved; facilities and teaching equipment are strengthened in a solid and standardized manner; the system of public educational institutions is arranged appropriately; promoting cooperation with domestic and foreign training institutions to access advanced training programs and improve the quality of human resources.

Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Thap province - informed that improving the quality of human resources plays an important role in promoting socio-economic development.
"We need to continue to promote propaganda work, thoroughly grasp viewpoints and policies on the position, role and importance of improving the quality of human resources. Pay attention to improving the quality of education and training, increasing the application of information technology, digital transformation in teaching and education management; focus on the labor market with high technical qualifications, contributing to improving knowledge and income for workers" - Mr. Thang said.
It is known that currently, the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Thap province is also soliciting comments on the draft Resolution regulating policies to attract human resources in the field of excellent graduates, young scientists and talented people working in Dong Thap province.
Dong Thap province plans to apply the policy to people with doctoral degrees, level II specialists, level II specialists specializing in medicine, pharmacy and equivalent in age; people with master's degrees, level I specialists, level I specialists, resident pharmacists, general practitioners; excellent graduates, talented young scientists;...
In particular, there are cadres, civil servants, and public employees working at agencies of the Party, State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations; public service units of the Party and State at all levels.
