The Government Office issued Notice No. 218/TB-VPCP dated May 8, 2025, concluding the conclusion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 11th meeting of the Central Emulation and Reward Council.
The Prime Minister, Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council (Council) said that in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, the Council and Standing Committee of the Council always followed the country's political tasks and the actual situation, promoting the role, actively and effectively implementing activities and successfully completing the contents and tasks set out.
The Prime Minister said that emulation and reward work has been closely coordinated and directed; up to now, it has been basically completed, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of the Law on Emulation and Reward in ministries, branches and localities.
Emulation and reward work has been actively directed by the Government, ministries, departments, branches and localities and organized to be implemented with focus, key points, practicality and efficiency.
Emulation programs across the country continue to be widely, synchronously, and richly implemented in content and form; contributing significantly to socio-economic change.
Notable among them are emulation movements such as: "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" which are being implemented very enthusiastically and meaningfully; 500 days and nights of emulation to complete 3,000 km of expressway".
In particular, the movement "The whole country competes in innovation and digital transformation" was just launched by the Prime Minister on April 24, 2025 at the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology.
The work of propagating, commending and replicating advanced models has many innovations; many advanced and typical models are honored and rewarded, creating a spread in the community and society.
Emulation and reward work has been carried out in accordance with regulations, the quality of reward has been improved, promptly serving the political tasks of the country.
The Prime Minister suggested continuing to promote the sense of responsibility, guide and encourage ministries, departments, branches and localities to actively promote emulation and reward work.
In particular, continue to implement existing movements; Associations (Women's Union, Youth Union...) study and launch additional movements in line with the key tasks that the whole country is focusing on implementing such as: the movement "Folklore education, digital transformation", "Foreign language learning", "Environmental sanitation"...
The announcement clearly stated that emulation and reward work has been carried out basically in accordance with regulations, the quality of reward has been improved and timely; Unexpected achievements have been rewarded, direct rewards for workers, production and business and work with outstanding achievements have been promptly rewarded.
However, the Ministry of Home Affairs needs to note that the guidance for the implementation and implementation of the commendation proposal must be truly objective, honest, and truly exemplary; replicate and spread movements, inspire, and create motivation for the whole nation.
