On April 15, Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc worked with Deputy Secretaries of the Government Party Committee, leaders of advisory and assisting agencies of the Government Party Committee.
Reporting at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee - said that currently, the Government Party Committee has 16 directly affiliated party committees, 1,734 grassroots Party organizations and 115,725 party members.
In the first quarter of 2026, the Government Party Committee will lead and direct the Government to focus on directing and administering the implementation of the national GDP growth target for 2026, striving for 10% or more associated with maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation and ensuring major balances of the economy; accelerating the implementation of strategic and key infrastructure projects.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen proposed that the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee report to competent authorities for consideration, amendment, and supplementation on the functions, tasks, organizational structure, and working regulations of the Government Party Committee; improve the process of approving specialized reports to submit to the Politburo; consolidate the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee and advisory and assisting agencies;
At the same time, rearrange the Party organization at enterprises and banks according to the vertical industry model and decentralize management to specialized ministries; promote digital transformation, build a quality assessment and advisory system...

Speaking at the working session, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc stated clearly that the organizational structure of the advisory and assisting agencies of the Government Party Committee needs to continue to be reviewed and consolidated in the direction of being streamlined, effective, efficient, assigning the right functions and tasks, not overlapping but not letting work be missed.
The Standing Deputy Prime Minister requested the advisory and assisting agencies of the Government Party Committee to focus on coordinating the draft amendment of Decision 249 and related regulations, based on summarizing opinions from directly affiliated party committees, ensuring compliance with the reality of Party organization and activities and the specific characteristics of the industry and field; propose to improve regulations, functions, tasks and mechanisms for assigning and coordinating work in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee.
The Standing Deputy Prime Minister requested to promote digital transformation in Party work, build a common database, and strengthen the application of technology in management, document processing, meeting organization and resolution implementation.
Government leaders also gave directing opinions on ensuring working conditions, means, and policies for cadres and civil servants working at advisory and assisting agencies of the Government Party Committee; reviewing and proposing appropriate mechanisms to ensure rights, create conditions for stable organization and improve operational efficiency.
