On September 11, Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee just held a Conference to announce and award decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work.
At the conference, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 2034/QD-UBND on transferring Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Director of the Provincial Traffic Works Project Management Board - to work at the Department of Construction, appointing him to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction.
According to Decision No. 2039/QD-UBND, Mr. Tran Thanh Kien - Secretary of Na Son Commune Party Committee for the term 2025-2030, Chairman of the Commune People's Council for the term 2026-2031 - was received and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Provincial Traffic Works Project Management Board.
The term of appointment is 5 years from the date the decision takes effect.
Speaking to assign tasks, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Le Van Luong expressed his hope that this transfer and appointment will strengthen coordination between specialized construction agencies and specialized project management boards, contributing to accelerating progress and improving the quality of transport infrastructure projects.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the appointed officials to quickly grasp the tasks, promote capacity and experience, maintain solidarity and decisiveness in performing the work.
The focus is on accelerating the progress of important transport projects such as the Son La - Dien Bien - Tay Trang Border Gate expressway (phase 1), and roads connecting key economic areas.
At the same time, remove obstacles in site clearance and improve the efficiency of attracting non-budget investment.
