On the afternoon of November 14, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and his delegation attended the National Great Unity Day held at Quarter 3, Phuoc Nguyen Ward, Ba Ria City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.
Also attending the festival were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province; leaders of Ba Ria city and hundreds of people in the area.
Speaking at the National Great Unity Day, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha expressed his joy at seeing many localities, from provincial to communal levels in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, have transformed and developed strongly.
According to the plan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province is identified as one of the national marine economic centers, an international-class tourism center and one of the clean energy and green industry centers with high added value. In the near future, people will enjoy high-quality social services; a multi-layered social security system; live in a clean and safe environment; and good cultural identity will be preserved and promoted.
The decisive factor to achieve this is to maximize the strength of great solidarity, the spirit of innovation and creativity, and the aspiration to rise up of the entire people. In which, the decisive factor is the dynamic and innovative spirit of the Party Committee, authorities at all levels, and the role of the people and enterprises as the center, subject and driving force.
In the coming time, the Deputy Prime Minister requested Party committees, authorities, and Fatherland Fronts at all levels to continue to effectively promote patriotic emulation campaigns and movements; promote democracy, listen to opinions, thoughts, and aspirations; continue to take practical actions to care for the material and spiritual lives of the people,... so that no one is left behind.
"In the atmosphere of today's National Great Unity Day, I hope that our people, if they are united, need to be even more united; if they are determined, then they need to be even more determined; if they have made efforts, then they need to make even more efforts to work together to build and develop our homeland to become more and more beautiful and civilized; a place that anyone who goes far away will remember, and anyone who has been there once will want to return," Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized.
During the festival, the Deputy Prime Minister also presented gifts worth a total of 41 million VND to the collective of Quarter 3, Phuoc Nguyen Ward; poor households in the area; The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also presented gifts and cash worth a total of about 10 million VND to the collective and poor households in Quarter 3, Phuoc Nguyen Ward.
