On September 3, in Hanoi, Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired a meeting of the National Assembly leadership to evaluate the results of the work in August and the key tasks in September 2025 of the National Assembly Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly.
Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution was a success and the National Day on September 2 was a great success.

At the same time, they expressed their special impression of the vibrant, heroic atmosphere, patriotism, and participation of a large number of people at the important anniversary of the country.
Regarding the main work results of the National Assembly in August, the National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the most successful was the organization of the first meeting of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam with generations of National Assembly deputies with a scale of nearly 2,000 deputies attending.
This is an event of important political significance, a vivid symbol of the unity between the " Party's Will" and the "People's Heart", an opportunity to look back on the glorious journey of the National Assembly in 80 years along with the journey of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country.
Along with that, the first National Assembly Forum on supervision activities was successfully organized - an important milestone in innovating the National Assembly's supervision activities.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man also noted that September is the peak period with many important political tasks of the 15th National Assembly term.
In the immediate future, it is necessary to focus on preparing carefully and thoroughly for the working session of the Politburo and General Secretary To Lam with the National Assembly Party Committee on the preparation for the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The National Assembly Chairman also noted that the preparation for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term needs to be monitored and updated regularly; focus on completing the contents to submit at the 49th Session of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
