On August 28, in the excited atmosphere of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee held a Party Badge Award Ceremony.
At the historical relic site of the Northern Ancestor's Victory, the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, led by Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Thap province - solemnly held a ceremony to award the Party Badge to Party members of 55 years of Party membership or more.
At the ceremony, the 55, 60, 65 and 70 year Party membership badges were awarded to 61 Party members of the Provincial Party Committee.
It is known that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee decided to award and posthumously award the Party Badge to 1,018 Party members, from 30 to 80 years of Party membership.
Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Le Quoc Phong sent his congratulations and deep gratitude to the Party members who received the Party Badge, and emphasized the profound historical and revolutionary significance of the location and time of the ceremony.
The ceremony was not only held at the Ap Bac relic - a famous historical site in the resistance war against the US to save the country, but also took place at the time when the whole country was looking forward to celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
According to Mr. Le Quoc Phong, this is also an important milestone for Dong Thap when the province is officially operating under the two-level local government model and actively preparing to organize the first Provincial Party Congress.

The Party badge is a noble award, not only recognizing the number of years of the Party but also demonstrating the respect and recognition of the Party for the contributions and silent sacrifices of Party members in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. This is also a sacred symbol of the training, maturity and beautiful loyalty to the revolutionary ideals of the Communist Party members.
