Looking towards 2026, the State Reserve Department identifies key tasks including continuing to build and improve institutions, especially guiding documents for the implementation of the Law on National Reserves (amended) that was passed by the National Assembly at the end of 2025. Ms. Giang emphasized that the implementation of decrees and circulars guiding the implementation of the Law is an urgent task, aiming to create a solid legal corridor for the sustainable development of national reserve work in the coming years.
Along with that, the Department will continue to implement the National Reserve Development Strategy and the Overall Planning of the National Reserve System, to ensure sufficient resources, be ready to respond to emergency situations, and at the same time improve administrative discipline and the quality of the contingent of civil servants.
In addition to institutional goals, the State Reserve Department will also focus on improving the efficiency of management and operation of the reserve warehouse system, ensuring that the regulation of the food, material and equipment market takes place smoothly, and no shortages occur in emergency situations.
