Gia Lai removes difficulties for facilities in operating two-level governments

Gia Lai deploys a "System for receiving and handling feedback and recommendations" to remove obstacles in localities, ensuring smooth operation of the two-level government.

After more than 3 months of implementing the 2-level local government model, units and localities in Gia Lai have operated basically stably and smoothly, meeting the requirements of serving people and businesses. However, the implementation of tasks at the commune level is still confusing, causing some problems and inadequacies.

To promptly remove difficulties in practice, the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested heads of units and localities to thoroughly grasp and direct the implementation of the "System for receiving and handling feedback and recommendations".

The civil servants and public employees assigned to be in charge must have a firm grasp of the handling process, ensuring that the reception and settlement of feedback and recommendations are carried out quickly and in accordance with regulations.

The Chairman of Gia Lai province also requested communes and wards to proactively grasp the situation at the grassroots level, promptly resolve work for people and businesses, and avoid backlogs and overdue survival.

Issues related to mechanisms, policies, administrative procedures or professional services... beyond their authority shall be transferred to the provincial authorities through the system for consideration, guidance and resolution.

The Provincial People's Committee Office is assigned as the focal point, responsible for training and guiding agencies, units and localities to deploy the system; receiving and advising on the handling of reflections and recommendations under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The Office is also responsible for monitoring, urging the implementation process and periodically synthesizing and reporting the results to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee every week.
