Dissolve the Steering Committee for Restructuring Shipbuilding Industry Corporation

    The Prime Minister decided to dissolve the Steering Committee for Restructuring Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC).

    Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang has just signed Decision No. 1183/QD-TTg dated July 1, 2026 of the Prime Minister on dissolving the Steering Committee for Restructuring Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC) established according to the Prime Minister's decisions.

    Decision No. 1183/QD-TTg assigns Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies and units to decide on the maintenance or dissolution of the SBIC Restructuring Steering Committee of their ministries, branches, and agencies based on work requirements, ensuring compliance with the principle of not generating new organizations.

    Previously, on August 13, 2010, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1470/QD-TTg establishing the SBIC Restructuring Steering Committee. The SBIC Restructuring Steering Committee was consolidated in Decision No. 194/QD-TTg dated February 14, 2017.

    The Steering Committee has the task of researching, proposing, organizing, and implementing policies and measures to restructure Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group in accordance with the direction of the Politburo, the Government, and the Prime Minister...

    It is known that the enterprise restructuring work has basically been completed, and the next handling tasks have been transferred to the direct implementation mechanism of ministries and sectors.
