On the morning of February 27, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense held a meeting on the preparation for organizing the 10th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange.
At the meeting, delegates of leaders and commanders of relevant agencies and units reported on the preparation work; and at the same time advised and proposed opinions and plans related to reception, reception, ensuring security, safety, logistics, and information and propaganda.
Concluding the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense - praised the positive and proactive spirit from an early stage of relevant agencies and units; basically agreed with the proposals and opinions of the delegates.
Emphasizing the important meaning of this exchange program, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang requested the forces participating in the organization work to coordinate, closely coordinate and proactively interact with the partner to soon agree on the time, complete the framework program, and detailed exchange script.
Commanders of agencies and units closely direct and closely follow the assigned tasks of their units to accelerate the implementation progress.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang also requested to urgently deploy tasks to all agencies and units inside and outside the Army to participate in the organization of exchanges, ensuring successful and good exchanges, meeting the expectations of the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense as well as the concern of the leaders of the Party, State and Government.
According to the plan, the 10th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange will take place in Quang Ninh province (Vietnam) and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) in March 2026.
