Hanoi assesses the results of corruption prevention and control before March 15

On February 18, the Hanoi People's Committee issued a plan to implement the assessment of corruption prevention and control work in 2024.

The plan aims to evaluate the implementation of anti-corruption work in 2024 of agencies and units under Hanoi City according to the provisions of the Law on Anti-Corruption 2018, and guiding documents for implementation.

The City People's Committee affirmed that this is an important task that needs to be implemented seriously, objectively, scientifically and effectively. The results of anti-corruption work are assessed in both determinative and qualitative aspects.

Each assessment content has specific data and documents to serve the explanation according to the requirements of the Government Inspectorate's Anti-Corruption Assessment Council, ensuring objectivity, science, thrift, efficiency, and close coordination between agencies and units with the City's Anti-Corruption Assessment Working Group.

The content of the assessment of corruption prevention and control work in 2024 is implemented according to the instructions of the Government Inspectorate and the Index, the guiding documents for assessing corruption prevention and control work at the provincial level in 2024 issued by the Government Inspectorate.

The Hanoi People's Committee requests directors of departments, heads of departments, branches, and units under the City People's Committee; Chairmen of District, Town and City People's Committees to organize dissemination, collect information and documents, prepare self-assessment records and prepare reports on corruption prevention and control work of their units, and report to the City People's Committee on the implementation results (through the City Inspectorate for synthesis) before March 15, 2025.

Units are responsible to the City People's Committee for the content and quality of the report; prepare documents to serve the explanation work before the Government Inspectorate Working Group according to the content of their unit's report and the contents related to the field of professional work of the industry. Units that do not submit incomplete reports or reports or send them after the above time will be considered as not completing the task of assessing corruption prevention and control work in 2024.

The working group to evaluate and combat corruption in 2024 will evaluate and develop a draft report on the assessment of corruption prevention and combat in 2024 of the City People's Committee, and submit it to the City People's Committee before April 15, 2025. The City People's Committee approves and sends the city's anti-corruption work assessment report for 2024 to the Government Inspectorate before April 30, 2025.
