The two General Secretaries and Presidents met with Vietnamese and Chinese youth participating in the "Red Journey of Research and Learning" Program.

On April 15, in Beijing (China), General Secretary and President Su Lin and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping met with Chinese and Vietnamese youth participating in the "Red Journey for Research and Learning" Program, showing the special importance of the highest leaders of the two Parties and two countries in nurturing and educating the young generation of the two countries, continuing to inherit the revolutionary traditions of previous generations.

Speaking at the meeting, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping wished the youth of the two countries to support each other, jointly maintain revolutionary belief, and make the friendship between the two countries increasingly warm, both comrades and brothers. The youth of the two countries shoulder responsibility, seize historical opportunities, use the strength and creativity of youth, and promote a strong trend of innovation, opening up cooperation and victory.

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping hopes for a generation of youth with ambitions, to be pioneers, actively contributing to the implementation of global development initiatives, global security initiatives, global civilization initiatives and global governance initiatives, contributing youthful energy to the cause of human progress and to China-Vietnam friendship.

Speaking at the meeting, General Secretary and President To Lam expressed his wish that the young generation of the two countries build their own ideals of life and firm political bravery; constantly raise awareness of the important significance and strategic height of Vietnam-China relations; strengthen learning, promote the spirit of innovation and creativity, master science and technology, uphold the spirit of volunteering, making worthy contributions to the development of each country and the friendly relations between the two countries.

To achieve the above goals, General Secretary and President To Lam requested agencies and organizations of the two countries to closely follow the high-level common understanding, strengthen innovation in propaganda and education for the young generation about the traditional friendship between the two Parties and the two countries; improve the quality of youth exchange and cooperation; further enrich youth exchange activities between the two countries, considering this a strategic step to foster an early foundation of friendship for future generations, and continue to effectively implement the "Red Journey of Research and Learning" Program so that youth of the two countries can better understand the heroic revolutionary history, the pure communist international spirit, and mutual support between the two Parties and the two countries.

General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that youth is the spring of society, the vitality of the nation, the reliable reserve team of the Party, the master of the future of the country; believing that youth of the two countries will continue to write new pages of Vietnam-China friendship with intelligence, pioneering and creative spirit, aspiration to contribute and responsibility for the future of their own country, following in their fathers and brothers' footsteps, bringing vitality and a bright future to Vietnam-China relations.
