National Assembly delegate Nguyen Thanh Phuong highly appreciated the National Assembly's strong application of technology, digital transformation, and application of artificial intelligence in activities.

This afternoon (October 21), the National Assembly discussed in groups the Reports on the work of the 2021-2026 term of the President and Government; draft Report on the work of the XV term of the National Assembly; Reports on the work of the XV term of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Ethnic Council...

In Group 11, National Assembly deputies (NADs) assessed that during their terms, the National Assembly, the Government, the President, and the agencies have been proactive, creative, and strongly innovated, daring to think, daring to do.

Especially in institutional improvement, administrative reform, digital transformation, application of artificial intelligence (AI), institutional creation for development, resource opening, caring for people's lives and deep integration.

Venerable Thich Duc Thien (National Assembly Delegation of Dien Bien Province) said that the Government has been proactive, creative, and determined with the spirit of "only discussing but not retreating"; closely directing key projects, cutting administrative procedures, promoting digital transformation and international cooperation...

The National Assembly has completed a huge workload with 19 Sessions, at the same time, there are many innovations in organization and operation, especially in building a digital National Assembly, applying AI; being active in foreign affairs activities.

At the discussion session, delegate Nguyen Thanh Phuong (National Assembly delegation of Can Tho city) highly appreciated the National Assembly's strong application of technology, digital transformation, and application of artificial intelligence in activities.

Delegate Phuong gave an example from the stack of documents for each session in previous terms, up to now, all session documents have been "composed" in a tablet with many modern technologies to effectively support the National Assembly delegates.

On the same issue, delegate Le Minh Nam (National Assembly delegation of Can Tho city) proposed linking the streamlining of the apparatus with the level of application of science and technology, digital transformation and AI.

Wherever technology is applied well and people can be replaced, priority should be given to streamlining first. There needs to be a solution to invest in using AI instead of humans to ensure productivity, savings and no workloads.

In addition, the Government needs to pay attention to developing a strategy to respond to unemployment due to restructuring, starting from economic restructuring, application of science and technology, digital transformation and AI.

There needs to be proactive policies and adaptive solutions (training, retraining, job conversion) to overcome negative impacts, ensuring that workers meet new requirements.

The delegates said that without supporting technology, the National Assembly would have difficulty completing the task of reviewing and passing a large number of laws and resolutions as in this term.

Speaking at the discussion session, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the National Assembly has had major changes in its activities, especially in the past year.

In particular, the National Assembly has strongly innovated the thinking of law-making, the process of building, promoting digital transformation, digitalization, and applying artificial intelligence very effectively to law-making activities; proactively, creatively, actively, and early and remote preparation.
