On the same issue, delegate Le Minh Nam (National Assembly delegation of Can Tho city) proposed linking the streamlining of the apparatus with the level of application of science and technology, digital transformation and AI.
Wherever technology is applied well and people can be replaced, priority should be given to streamlining first. There needs to be a solution to invest in using AI instead of humans to ensure productivity, savings and no workloads.
In addition, the Government needs to pay attention to developing a strategy to respond to unemployment due to restructuring, starting from economic restructuring, application of science and technology, digital transformation and AI.
There needs to be proactive policies and adaptive solutions (training, retraining, job conversion) to overcome negative impacts, ensuring that workers meet new requirements.
The delegates said that without supporting technology, the National Assembly would have difficulty completing the task of reviewing and passing a large number of laws and resolutions as in this term.
