Gold and real estate prices increase
On the morning of October 21, at the 10th Session, the National Assembly discussed in groups about assessing the results of implementing the socio-economic development plan for 2025; the expected socio-economic development plan for 2026.
Speaking, delegate Le Huu Tri (Khanh Hoa delegation) expressed concern about the issue of gold prices and real estate prices.
Regarding domestic consumption, the delegate said that although there has been a recovery, it has not yet met expectations. In particular, he expressed concern about the recent increase in prices of some consumer goods, gold prices and real estate prices.
He said that the high price of gold sometimes creates the feeling that we are lacking control. Through research, the delegate assessed that the reason was partly due to the slow increase in people's income, weak consumer confidence or spending trends.
According to the delegate, this situation could have a big impact on people's lives, especially from now until Tet.
The delegate also mentioned the real estate market showing signs of "bubbling" and said that these are issues that need to be paid attention to, evaluated by the Government and have timely solutions.
Delegate Nguyen Huu Toan (Lai Chau Delegation) said that in the coming time, risks related to interest rates and exchange rates in the management of financial and monetary policies are issues that need special attention.
"The price of gold has climbed so high in the past few days, making it difficult for people to buy, and the real estate market has also increased. The stock market yesterday (October 20) fell by 95 points," said the delegate, adding that this must be considered to create a stable channel for capital mobilization and capital flow.

Complaints and denunciations are a " painful" issue
National Assembly delegate Do Ngoc Thinh (Khanh Hoa delegation) said that after studying the tasks and solutions for 2026, he realized that there was "a missing task that was no less important, which was handling complaints and denunciations from citizens".
According to him, this is one of the " painful" points that National Assembly deputies often encounter when meeting voters.

Delegate Do Ngoc Thinh acknowledged: "Where there is urbanization, where there are projects on infrastructure, industrial parks, site clearance, and compensation for people, there are complaints".
The delegate pointed out many causes of this situation, including overlapping institutions. Some people do not understand the law, while others may be for personal gain.
According to the delegate, although the majority did the right thing, there were still some officials who "had not complied with the law" or could have violated it.
The above reasons lead to the settlement of complaints and denunciations of citizens over the years being one of the burning points.
Delegate Do Ngoc Thinh emphasized the need to resolve cases, especially long-term complaints.
He proposed to focus on resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens in accordance with the provisions of law. We must be determined and resolve long-standing complaints, based on the law and ensuring the legitimate interests of the people in 2026.
For complex and difficult problems, it is necessary to "discuss and resolve them thoroughly for the people" to ensure political and social security.
"Solving citizens' complaints and denunciations is inevitable, we must face this," the delegate emphasized.
