On June 24, at the 4th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031, delegates carried out cadre work under their authority, considered dismissal and additional election of members of the Provincial People's Committee.
The meeting was co-chaired by Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Thang An and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council La Hoai Nam and Be Minh Duc.
Presenting the submissions at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa proposed that the Provincial People's Council consider reducing the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term for the following officials: Nguyen Anh Que - former Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Nguyen Thi Anh Hong - former Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Nguyen Quoc Trung - former Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism due to transferring to other jobs.
After listening to the thẩm tra report of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the delegates voted to approve the resolution to dismiss the title of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 3 officials mentioned above.
Also at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council conducted additional elections of members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term to ensure the structure and number of members of the Provincial People's Committee according to regulations.
The personnel introduced for additional election include Mr. Pham Van Tao - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Mr. Nong The Phuc - Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Mr. To Vu Ninh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
