Emergency support of 50 billion VND for Khanh Hoa to overcome damage caused by floods

Khanh Hoa province is supported with 50 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 to overcome the damage caused by floods.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has just signed Decision No. 2514/QD-TTg dated November 18, 2025 of the Prime Minister to urgently support Khanh Hoa province to overcome the damage caused by floods.

The Prime Minister decided to support Khanh Hoa province with 50 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 to overcome the damage caused by floods as proposed by the Ministry of Finance in Document No. 17878/BTC-NSNN dated November 18, 2025.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee is responsible for managing and using the above additional funds, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the law on the state budget and other relevant legal documents, ensuring the right purpose of use, the right subjects, publicity, transparency, no loss or negativity.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee reports the results of use to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies to synthesize and report to the Prime Minister.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province, in the past 2 days, the rainfall in the whole province reached 80-250mm. In particular, floods caused serious landslides at Khanh Le Pass and Khanh Son Pass.

In just 2 days, floods have killed 7 people, left 2 people missing, injured 19 people, 7,000 hectares of rice, 117 hectares of annual crops (corn, sweet potatoes), and 404 hectares of vegetables were deeply flooded. Some damaged works...
