The 13th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee took place in the context of better socio-economic targets in the first 9 months of the same period in 2024 in most areas; the model of local government at both levels generally operating smoothly; public services continue to improve in the direction of taking people and businesses as the center. The development space after the national master plan is supporting and coordinating with each other; the regional economy is forming clearer, transforming into a new competitive advantage.
The seven strategic resolutions of the Politburo issued over the past year (Resolution 57-59-66-68-70-71-72) have been paving the way for practical and solid steps, serving the goal of maintaining peace, stability, rapid and sustainable development, improving the real life of the people and realizing the two 100-year goals set by our Party, which the people are looking forward to.
It is expected that according to the agenda, the 13th Central Conference will discuss, review and give opinions on two important groups of issues: Group of issues on preparation for the 14th National Party Congress and Group of socio-economic issues.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, General Secretary To Lam welcomed the Central Committee members, the guest delegates and acknowledged the efforts and work results of the comrades in the recent past.
The General Secretary believes that, with the responsibility and awareness of Party members, Central Committee members will focus their spirit and intelligence to make practical contributions to the success of the Conference.
