The more difficult it is, the better it is necessary to do the work of building and rectifying the Party
General Secretary To Lam emphasized this content at the National Conference summarizing inspection, supervision and disciplinary action in 2025 and the 13th National Party Congress term, on the morning of November 24.
The conference was organized by the Central Party Secretariat, connecting online to the connecting points of the Provincial Party Committee, City Party Committee, and Party Committee directly under the Central Committee.

According to General Secretary To Lam, the 13th National Party Congress term took place in the context of many rapid and complicated developments in the international, regional and domestic situations with many unprecedented new issues arising, beyond forecasts, posing great difficulties and challenges.
However, this is also the period when our Party demonstrated its resilience, solidarity, unity, and calmness to resolve risks and challenges, leading the country to overcome "big waves and big winds" and achieve many important results, striving for and expected to achieve, or even exceed, many basic targets of the 13th National Party Congress term. Many breakthrough policies and strategic decisions have been and are being implemented, opening up a turning point in the country's development process.
The General Secretary affirmed that, looking back from the beginning of the term until now, we can see a very profound lesson: the more difficult times are, the more we must do a good job of building and rectifying the Party.
Monitoring the resolution of "hot" issues of public concern
To improve the quality and effectiveness of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline in the coming term, the General Secretary suggested that Party committees, Party organizations and inspection committees at all levels continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Party's regulations on inspection and supervision work, especially newly issued regulations, as well as the directions of the Politburo and the Secretariat.
The General Secretary requested the comprehensive and effective implementation of tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter and tasks assigned by Party committees, not leaving "spaces" and "dark areas" that the Party's inspection and supervision work could not reach.
Strongly shift the focus of work to regular supervision, proactive supervision, early warning, remote prevention... Ensure that all policies and guidelines of the Party are seriously and effectively implemented at all levels.

The General Secretary suggested promptly detecting, inspecting and resolutely handling party organizations and party members who show signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; "self-evolution", "self-transformation"; violating things that party members are not allowed to do, violating regulations on exemplary responsibility; violating Party principles and regulations, State laws; corruption, waste, negativity, and group interests;
It is necessary to resolutely handle violations strictly, but also resolutely protect those who boldly innovate, dare to think, dare to do for the common interests of the country; effectively implement the work of inspection and supervision of declaration and disclosure of assets according to regulations;
Monitoring the resolution of "hot" issues that the public is concerned about such as the operation of the political system and state management in areas prone to corruption and negativity after the reorganization of the organization and apparatus; the implementation of key projects and works at the national and local levels...
The General Secretary noted that focusing on building streamlined, strong Inspection Committees at all levels to operate effectively and efficiently. Build a team of inspection officers who are truly brave, honest, professional, "bright like a mirror, sharp like a hood", absolutely loyal to the Party, steadfast in the face of all difficulties, not subject to any pressure, impact or temptation; need to strengthen training, fostering, and coaching to improve the professional quality of the Party inspection officers at all levels, especially in communes and wards.
The General Secretary requested to continue promoting digital transformation and the application of information technology; promote smooth, accurate and timely connection and sharing of data to effectively serve inspection and supervision work in the entire political system, towards "checking on data, monitoring on data"; strengthen coordination and information communication between Party inspection and supervision agencies and Party organizations in handling difficult, complicated and sensitive cases.
