This afternoon (September 15), the Ministry of National Defense held a conference to summarize and reward the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.
The conference was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics - Deputy Director of the Steering Committee; Major General Le Quang Tuyen - Deputy Director of the General Department of Defense Industry - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee; representatives of leaders and officers of agencies and units participating in the Exhibition and agencies, units and individuals who were commended.
According to statistics from the Exhibition Organizing Committee, the indoor and outdoor exhibition areas of the Ministry of National Defense at the Exhibition attracted and welcomed a large number of delegations and about 6.6 million people and tourists to visit; honored to welcome and visit the General Secretary, Prime Minister and leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, leaders of departments, ministries, branches, central and local levels to visit the exhibition area.
The Organizing Committee has arranged reception, explanation and training forces carefully, ensuring both in-depth knowledge and standard, formal and standard style to introduce and welcome visitors.
The reception teams, logistics teams and service forces worked with high intensity, often staying up late, waking up early, and sticking to their positions in all weather conditions to prepare and serve, ensuring that every delegate and every citizen when coming to the space of the Ministry of National Defense felt thoughtful, solemn and approachable.
The forces have organized the distribution of more than 170,000 bottles of water, 200,000 dry salary packages, and 23,000 boxes of milk to the service forces and the people. The gifts, although small, contain the Army's affection and gratitude to the people.
At the Conference, on behalf of the Central Military Commission, leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, leaders of the General Department of Politics, Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee - praised the spirit of solidarity and efforts to overcome difficulties of officers and soldiers of the entire army, directly members of the Organizing Committee, the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee, agencies, units and forces directly performing tasks at the Exhibition.
The comrades did not mind the difficulties and hardships, and deployed preparations in a short time with a huge workload, including a large amount of materials, weapons, equipment, and difficult weather caused by storms and floods, high requirements, but successfully completed the assigned tasks, together with central and local departments, ministries, and branches, creating an unexpectedly successful Exhibition, creating a highlight in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
At the Conference, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in serving the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
