The Government Inspectorate has just issued a Report on the Results of resolving and responding to voters' petitions sent after the 10th session, 15th National Assembly.
In which, voters in Hai Phong City proposed considering and supplementing stronger sanctions to ensure strict implementation of inspection conclusions, avoiding the situation of delaying, prolonging or evading implementation responsibility.
Regarding this issue, the Government Inspectorate said it agreed with the opinions of voters on the necessity to strengthen sanctions to ensure strict implementation of inspection conclusions.
Inspection conclusions are an important basis for handling violations, recovering assets for the State and rectifying management work; the slow implementation or failure to implement inspection conclusions reduces the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and the effectiveness of inspection activities.
Current law has stipulated the responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and individuals in implementing inspection conclusions and the responsibilities of heads in organizing implementation (Articles 52, 53, 54 of the Law on Inspection).
In case of not implementing or not fully implementing the inspection conclusion, depending on the nature and severity of the violation, responsibility will be handled according to the provisions of law (Clause 2, Article 55 of the Law on Inspection, Article 77, Article 78 of Decree No. 216/ND-CP dated August 5, 2025 of the Government).
In the coming time, the Government Inspectorate will continue to study and propose to improve legal regulations in the direction of strengthening the responsibility of heads of agencies, organizations, and units; strengthening and improving the work of monitoring, urging, and inspecting the implementation of inspection conclusions; proposing strict handling of cases of slow implementation, failure to implement or incomplete implementation of inspection conclusions, contributing to ensuring discipline and order in state management.
