On December 16, 2025, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Committee held its 70th meeting. Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh chaired the meeting.
At this session, the Central Inspection Commission (IC) reviewed the Inspection Results Report when there were signs of violations and proposed disciplinary action against the following individuals: Le Tan Dung, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, former member of the Party Committee, former Deputy Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Doan Mau Diep, former member of the Party Committee, former Deputy Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs;
The Central Inspection Commission found that: Individuals Le Tan Dung and Doan Mau Diep, during their tenure as members of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; in preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example, causing serious consequences, reducing the prestige of the Party organization and the agency or unit where they work, to the point of requiring disciplinary action.
Considering the content, nature, extent, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. Le Tan Dung and Mr. Doan Mau Diep with a Warning.
Also at this session, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed and resolved the denunciation of 1 case; resolved the complaint of party discipline in 1 case and decided on a number of other important contents.
