Secretariat expels 3 officials from the Party
On May 12, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Secretariat met to consider the proposal of the Central Inspection Committee on disciplinary action against violating party members.
The Secretariat noted that Mr. Nguyen Van Buong - former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Chief Justice of the High People's Court in Da Nang; Vu The Phiet - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airports Corporation; Le Van Ha - former Provincial Party Committee member, former Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Le Ho ward (Ninh Binh province) have declined in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle.
The Secretariat decided to impose disciplinary action of expulsion from the Party on Mr. Nguyen Van Buong, Vu The Phiet, Le Van Ha.
Proposal to consider disciplinary action against Director of Hue City Department of Agriculture and Environment
On May 15, the Hue City Party Committee's Inspection Committee said that the unit had just held the 8th Meeting.
The Hue City Party Committee's Inspection Committee proposed that competent authorities consider disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duc - Director of the City Department of Agriculture and Environment.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duc is a member of the Executive Committee of the City People's Committee Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, cum Chief of the Coordinating Office of the National Target Program for New Rural Development of Hue City.
The City Party Committee's Inspection Committee determined that Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duc had not fully promoted his role and responsibility, lax leadership and direction; lacked inspection and supervision of contractor selection and contract implementation in the construction and broadcasting of communication topics about the new rural program.
The session also considered the report proposing disciplinary action against Mr. Hoang The Hung - Chief of Office of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee, former Deputy Chief of Office in charge of the Office of the Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement of Thua Thien - Hue province (now Hue City Civil Judgment Enforcement).
Based on the content, nature, extent and consequences of the violation, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided to impose disciplinary action in the form of reprimand on Mr. Hoang The Hung.
Lang Son expels 4 cases from the Party
On May 11, the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee issued a decision to discipline Mr. Hoang Dang Tu - former Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (NNPTNT) of Binh Gia district (old); Ms. Ngo Thi Trang and Ms. Lam Thi Linh (both former civil servants of the department) by expelling them from the Party.
According to the conclusion of the inspection agency, in 2019, Mr. Hoang Dang Tu was the head of the appraisal team for the intercropping fruit tree planting project according to VietGAP standards of Phuong Hoang Cooperative in Hoa Tham commune (old).
In the process of performing his duties, Mr. Tu was found to have lacked inspection, urging and signing appraisal minutes not in accordance with regulations.
In their roles as members of the appraisal team, Ms. Trang and Ms. Linh, although they discovered that the project dossier did not meet regulations, did not report or propose to re-implement the process but still completed the dossier to submit to competent authorities for approval.
Regarding the incident, previously, the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee also decided to expel Mr. Dao The Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thien Thuat commune from the Party.
Mr. Dong was formerly Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Binh Gia district (old) in the period 2015-2023.
