General Secretary To Lam and leaders and former leaders of the Party and State are expected to attend the Anniversary Ceremony.
This is a national-level anniversary ceremony, aimed at widely propagating the great historical and political significance of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam; affirming the role, position and important contributions of the National Assembly in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
This is also an event of important political significance, contributing to the entire Party, people, and army reviewing the glorious historical tradition of the Vietnamese National Assembly throughout the 80 years of attachment and companionship with the nation; at the same time, honoring and paying tribute to the great contributions of National Assembly deputies through various periods.
At the same time, promote propaganda and education of the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", encourage and motivate cadres, party members and people to join hands and unite to uphold their will and determination to protect the Party's ideological foundation and comply with the State's laws;
Build the National Assembly to truly be a representative of the People, of the people, by the people and for the people, contributing to maintaining the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Fatherland and a peaceful and stable environment for national development;
Cultivate and raise awareness and pride in the historical tradition of the National Assembly of Vietnam; at the same time, strengthen the introduction and promotion of the image of the National Assembly of Vietnam to international friends.
Over 80 years of construction and development, the National Assembly of Vietnam has always accompanied the nation, affirming its particularly important role in historical turning points.
In any circumstances, the National Assembly always fulfills its noble mission, a place that converges wisdom, solidarity, and democracy with accurate and timely decisions and policies in all three aspects of legislation, supreme supervision, and deciding on important issues of the country.
Those decisions and policies contributed efforts together with the entire Party, people, and army to create great achievements of historical significance for our country to have the potential, position and international prestige it has today.
