On the evening of October 9, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Vietnam Bar Federation held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Lawyers' Traditional Day (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2025). Politburo member and President Luong Cuong attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Party, State, former leaders of the Party and State; leaders of a number of central agencies, departments, ministries and branches.
According to Dr. Lawyer Do Ngoc Thinh - President of the Vietnam Bar Federation, in the context of the country entering a new stage of development, an era of national growth, the Vietnamese legal community continues to strive, constantly learning, improving knowledge, skills, and ethics to suit the context of the situation and new requirements.
Over the past 80 years, in addition to participating in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals according to legal regulations, the Vietnamese legal community has actively contributed to the work of law-making, perfecting institutions, and building a socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam.
Inheriting and promoting the good tradition over the past 80 years, in order to continue to make positive contributions, worthy of the trust and expectations of the Party, State and People, the Vietnam Bar Federation and the Vietnamese legal community always determine the goal: "Solidarity - Creativity - Integrating - Developing", joining hands and united with the entire Party, people and army to bring the country into a new era, an era of national growth.
The team of lawyers nationwide continues to promote the tradition of solidarity, unity, overcoming difficulties and challenges, striving to successfully achieve the set goals and tasks.
The 80th Anniversary of Vietnam Lawyers' Traditional Day is not only an important milestone in the development process, but also an opportunity to look back on the past. From there, continue to make adjustments in accordance with the new situation, continue to build the image of a lawyer who is solid in his profession, pure in ethics, meeting the expectations of the Party, State and People.
