On the afternoon of March 6, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security organized an online conference to summarize the enrollment work in 2025 and deploy the enrollment work in 2026 in the People's Police (CAND). Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the Conference.
According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, the summary report on enrollment work in 2025 of the Department of Training emphasized that 2025 is the 4th year that the Ministry of Public Security has implemented Project No. 04/DA-BCA dated May 21, 2021 on "Innovating the work of regular university enrollment for new recruitment in the People's Public Security Forces".
Over 4 years of implementation, the Project has brought comprehensive results, making an important contribution to the cause of education and training of the People's Public Security Forces, and at the same time affirming the political determination of the Central Public Security Party Committee in fundamentally and comprehensively innovating education and training.
On that basis, the Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam continues to affirm its position as one of the 4 separate university entrance exams with a large scale, belonging to the leading group in the country in terms of the number of registered candidates.
Regarding the enrollment of second degrees for citizens who have a university degree or higher. People's Police academies and schools have made efforts to innovate exam questions, contributing to improving the quality of enrollment work, ensuring the implementation of targets assigned by the Ministry, the result is that 830 university admissions students/830 assigned targets have enrolled, accounting for 100%.
Regarding university enrollment for police officers, as of December 31, 2025, the enrollment of classes has been completed with the result of 9,604 admitted candidates/10,365 targets, reaching a rate of 92.7%...
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested units and schools in the People's Police to continue to innovate and raise awareness about the role of enrollment work and new requirements in the enrollment of the People's Police.
This is the first stage with a very important position and role in cadre work and education and training; not only selecting students to ensure conditions and standards for training in People's Police academies and schools, but also having important significance in building a quality cadre team, building a regular, elite, and modern People's Police force.
Therefore, it is necessary to closely follow, thoroughly grasp, and seriously implement the viewpoints and policies of the Party, State, Central Public Security Party Committee, and Ministry of Public Security on breakthrough development of education and training in the People's Public Security Forces in line with the renovation roadmap of the national education system, associated with the requirements and tasks of public security work in the new period, the new organizational model and the 3-level Public Security.
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung assigned the Department of Training to proactively research and closely follow the adjustments in university admissions in 2026 in accordance with the new general education program according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the specific characteristics of the Police sector; manage and guide the Police of units, localities and People's Police academies and schools to organize the People's Police enrollment work according to the set schedule and plan.
