On June 6, the 14th Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee held a thematic conference.
The conference gave opinions on adjusting the plan to arrange public service units under specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, public service units under the District People's Committee and establish public service units under the Commune People's Committee.
According to the plan, after the arrangement, merging and consolidating 103 commune health stations and 4 regional general clinics, it will now be adjusted into 38 commune and ward health stations under the Health Center under the Department of Health.
Reorganize Lai Chau City Medical Center with the name Lai Chau Medical Center. After reorganizing departments and rooms, Lai Chau Medical Center has 2 departments, 7 departments (reducing 1 department) after the arrangement.
Dissolve the Agricultural Service Center under Lai Chau City People's Committee and transfer its functions and tasks to the Agricultural and Rural Agricultural Technical Extension Center (under the Department of Agriculture and Environment).
Reorganize 7 Agricultural Service Centers under the People's Committees of districts into 7 Agricultural and Agricultural Service Extension Stations under the Agricultural and Rural Agricultural and Technical Extension Center (under the Department of Agriculture and Environment).
Also according to the adjustment plan, 8 Culture, Sports and Communications Centers under the People's Committees of districts and cities will be transferred to the People's Committees of communes after the reorganization.
Dissolve Lai Chau City Urban Order Management Team, the state management function of urban areas is directed by the People's Committees of the new wards according to the process.
