In response to the outstanding achievements of Ho Chi Minh City Police in the fight against crime, the leader of the Ministry of Public Security has issued a Letter of Commendation.

On September 27, 2024, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security sent a letter of commendation to Ho Chi Minh City Police for their achievements in fighting and destroying 04 drug trafficking and transportation rings in large quantities.

The content of the Letter of Commendation clearly states:

The Ministry's leaders were informed: Recently, Ho Chi Minh City Police have focused on drastically and effectively implementing professional measures, fighting and destroying 04 drug trafficking and transportation rings in large quantities, arresting 34 subjects, seizing a total of 79.5 kg of synthetic drugs, 48 ​​heroin bars, 02 guns and many other evidences.

The consecutive achievements have affirmed the determination, high sense of responsibility, solidarity, intelligence, creativity and professional sharpness of the Ho Chi Minh City Police in implementing the direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security on preventing and combating drug crimes on the Southwest route.

The results of the investigation and discovery of the cases have contributed to preventing the supply of drugs from abroad into the country, deterring and preventing organized and transnational crimes, stabilizing security and order, and strengthening people's trust in the police force.
