On July 23, the People's Committee of Da Nang City issued a strong directive to tighten discipline, improve the effectiveness of handling administrative procedures (AP) and online public services.
Vice Chairman of Ho Quang Buu City People's Committee signed Official Letter No. 436/UBND-KGVX, requesting units to focus on strictly implementing the direction of the Chairman of the City People's Committee, determined to rectify the situation of stagnation, ensuring the public service system operates smoothly, effectively and without interruption.
A breakthrough in the document is the fundamental change in the assessment method. Instead of relying only on reports to record "completion of tasks on paper", work efficiency will now be measured by more substantial indicators, including: actual online records rate, satisfaction level of people and businesses, and operational efficiency of Public Administration Service Centers. Units must strictly implement the daily honest reporting regime on the Central's Resolution 57 monitoring system.
To ensure feasibility, the City People's Committee has set specific requirements for an urgent deadline. Units must complete the provision of images of the current status of the Public Administration Service Center and especially establish a "Technology and Professional Rescue Group" to support and immediately handle problems in resolving administrative procedures for people before July 25, 2025.
The Department of Science and Technology is assigned to monitor, urge and summarize the implementation on the daily monitoring system. This move shows the strong participation of the city's leaders, aiming to build a serving administration, taking the people as the center and not accepting delays and lack of responsibility in performing public duties.
