Lao Cai and Yen Bai complete personnel plan after merger

The Secretaries of Lao Cai and Yen Bai Provincial Party Committees have just signed a Joint Resolution of the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of the two provinces on the personnel plan for the new Lao Cai province.

On June 12, in Lao Cai city, the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to receive and complete the personnel plan (in step 3 according to Conclusion No. 150-KL/TW) of the new Lao Cai province after the merger.

The delegates discussed and gave specific opinions on each personnel case and highly agreed on the personnel plan to submit to the Politburo and the Secretariat for consideration and appointment according to regulations.

The conference also voted to introduce personnel to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and key leadership positions for the 2021-2026 term of the new Lao Cai province.

Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong and Yen Bai Provincial Party Secretary Tran Huy Tuan affirmed that up to now, the two localities have basically completed the contents of the personnel plan in accordance with the roadmap and direction of the Central Government, demonstrating a high spirit of unity and consensus.

From now until July 1, when the two-level local government model officially takes effect, the two provinces have identified many important tasks that need to be urgently implemented.

Attending the conference, Mr. Truong Quoc Bao, Deputy Director of the Department of Localities I, Central Organizing Committee, assessed that the personnel plan of the new Lao Cai province closely follows the direction and guidance of the Central Government. Each case is carefully reviewed to ensure compliance with regulations.
