At the meeting, the People's Council of Duong Kinh District unanimously approved the District's 1/2000 scale zoning plan until 2040, before the District People's Committee submitted it to the City People's Committee for approval.
The delegates also approved 4 important contents, including: Adjusting the investment policy of the Hung Dao Kindergarten Construction Project (phase 1); adjusting and supplementing the 2025 Public Investment Plan (phase 1); adjusting the allocation of the 2025 budget estimate for specialized agencies established and reorganized under the District People's Committee; dismissing members of the District People's Committee, term III, 2021-2026.
Accordingly, the People's Council of Duong Kinh District approved the dismissal of 5 officials from the position of District People's Committee Member: Mr. Trinh Van Cu - former Commander of the District Military Command, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Biec - former Head of the District Police, Mr. Tran Canh Hung - Chief of the District Party Committee Office, former Chief of the District People's Council and People's Committee Office; Mr. Nguyen Duc An - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Hai Thanh Ward People's Committee - former Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Tran Van Thang - Secretary of the Da Phuc Ward Party Committee, former Head of the District Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Department.
Previously, Duong Kinh district completed the arrangement of the political apparatus and put it into operation from March 1, 2025. At the 19th thematic session, the District People's Council decided to merge, establish and restructure a number of specialized departments under the District People's Committee, reducing from 12 departments to 10 departments.
To ensure the effective operation of specialized agencies after the arrangement, the 20th thematic session decided on a number of important contents related to personnel work under the authority of the District People's Council, and at the same time adjusted the allocation of the 2025 budget estimate to meet the development requirements of the district in the coming time.
