Removal of Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee

Ca Mau - The Provincial People's Council has reviewed and voted to dismiss Mr. Huynh Huu Tri from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee due to receiving a new assignment.

On the morning of November 13, the People's Council of Ca Mau province, term X, 2021-2026, held the 4th Session (special session) to review and decide on many important and urgent contents under its authority.

At this session, the People's Council of Ca Mau province reviewed and voted to dismiss Mr. Huynh Huu Tri from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, appointed by the Secretariat to hold the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. The Provincial People's Council acknowledged and highly appreciated Mr. Huynh Huu Tri's contributions during his time working.

At the session, delegates of the Provincial People's Council focused on discussing and voting to pass 7 important resolutions, including: Approving the List of land plots for bidding for investment projects using land; Allocating regular expenditure sources to implement 3 National Target Programs (sustainable poverty reduction, building new rural areas, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas) in 2025; Adjusting local budget revenue and expenditure estimates in 2025; Adjusting the Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2021-2025 and the Public Investment Plan in 2025; Regulating the level of work expenses, conference expenses and policies for people working outside the payroll quota at Associations assigned by the Party and the State.

Speaking at the closing session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu stated that this is the time when it is necessary to focus on leadership and direction to resolutely complete the goals of 2025 and the entire period of 2021-2025.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently develop a specific plan to implement the resolutions that have just been passed. He especially emphasized the need to be proactive and resolute in directing and operating, ensuring achievement or exceeding the 8% growth scenario, creating a solid foundation for the new development stage.

In addition, Comrade Pham Van Thieu also requested all levels and sectors to focus on developing human resources, preparing well for personnel work for the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; continue to review and perfect the province's mechanisms and policies.
