On the afternoon of September 3, the Department of Home Affairs of Ca Mau province said that the settlement of the regime and policies for cadres, civil servants and public employees on retirement according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP on staff streamlining according to Decree No. 154/2025/ND-CP has been well resolved.
The total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who submitted applications for resignation after the arrangement according to regulations is 2,807 people; the province has issued a decision to retire 2,219 people. Of which, the total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who have decided to pay the regime and policies when retiring according to regulations is 1,773 people. Total amount paid to cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers: 1,932 billion VND.
For cadres, civil servants, public employees, and part-time workers at the commune level (from July 1 to August 25), who have submitted their retirement documents according to regulations, there are 699 people. The province decided to let 446 people take a day off. There are 39 people who have decided to pay the regime and policies. The total amount of money paid for policies and regimes for part-time workers at the commune level is more than 8.9 billion VND.
According to the Department of Home Affairs of Ca Mau province, the arrangement of cadres in communes and wards is relatively guaranteed according to requirements. Through the review, the needs of the People's Committees of communes and wards of the province have mobilized and seconded 24 civil servants and public employees to support communes and wards. Communes and wards have also proactively reviewed and arranged the remaining locations. The Provincial People's Committee has directed the Department of Home Affairs to continue reviewing the team of commune-level civil servants to promptly advise on mobilization to communes and wards that are still lacking, especially reviewing at the commune level to transfer local surplus and shortage cases.
Currently, the number of cadres and civil servants in state administrative agencies and organizations is 4,818 (provincial level: 1,683; commune level: 3,135). The number of employees receiving salaries from the state budget is 31,976 people (provincial level: 9,533; commune level: 22,023).
