On the afternoon of October 17, the Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) held the 4th Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025 - 2030).
Reporting on the results of VDB's emulation and reward work at the congress, Mr. Ngo Van Tuan - Head of VDB's Organization and Personnel Department - said that the emulation movement in the VDB system is launched regularly and practically and associated with emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister and competent authorities at all levels, while closely following VDB's core political tasks.
According to him, thanks to the strong leadership and direction of the Party Committee, Board of Directors, VDB Executive Board, the close coordination of units, Youth Union, VDB Trade Union and the positive response of all cadres and workers, the emulation movement launched by VDB has achieved many outstanding results, making a practical contribution to the completion of target programs for the period 2020 - 2025.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of VDB Dao Quang Truong emphasized that, facing difficulties, challenges and even great opportunities, VDB must strive harder with its own strength and intelligence in the coming time.
"Hosting this Patriotic Emulation Congress is an important milestone in evaluating the development of VDB's patriotic emulation movement, demonstrating the continuation and promotion of good traditions and achievements and results achieved in recent years" - VDB General Director Dao Quang Truong said.
With the focus content being the summary of emulation - reward work and emulation movements of the industry in the 5 years from 2020 - 2025, the Congress is tasked with evaluating the achieved results, identifying limitations, shortcomings and solutions to overcome them; Proposing directions, goals and tasks for emulation - reward work of VDB in the coming time.
At the same time, identify valuable lessons and experiences, good initiatives and improvements to be widely applied, continue to make the emulation movement of the entire industry develop in both breadth and depth, truly be a driving force to promote and improve efficiency, contributing to the excellent completion of assigned tasks.
From there, continue to arouse, encourage and strongly promote resources, creating new momentum in implementing VDB's tasks in the coming time.
