Nghe An announces merger of Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

Nghe An - Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc, Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, was transferred and appointed to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.

On the afternoon of June 27, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the decision to merge Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station.

According to Decision No. 3838 dated June 21, 2025 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the two press agencies will officially merge into Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station. The merger aims to streamline the apparatus, promote the strength of information and propaganda on multiple platforms.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee announced Decision No. 3974 dated June 26, 2025 on personnel work. Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc - Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station was transferred and appointed to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.

6 officials were appointed to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television Station, including: Tran Van Hung, Tran Huu Nghia, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper); Tran Thi Huyen, Nguyen Trung Thao, Phan Van Thang (Deputy Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station).

The improvement of organization and personnel is expected to contribute to improving the quality of information and propaganda, effectively serving the province's political tasks in the new period.

The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has also issued a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Ngo Duc Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Cua Lo Ward (new).
