According to the decision, the Quang Tri Provincial Radio and Television Newspaper and Station were established on the basis of merging Quang Tri Newspaper and Quang Tri Radio and Television Station. Along with announcing the establishment decision, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee issued a decision to appoint Mr. Vo Nguyen Thuy, Director of Quang Tri Radio and Television Station to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.
After the merger, Quang Tri Provincial Radio and Television Newspaper and Station has 4 Deputy Editor-in-Chief including Mr. Nguyen Ty (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper); Mr. Le Vinh Nhien (Deputy Director of Quang Tri Radio and Television Station); Mr. Nguyen Quoc Nam (Deputy Director of Quang Tri Radio and Television Station); Mr. Nguyen Chi Linh (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper).
